Artist’s Book Launch and Exhibition
‘Wound’ is a series of works on paper by the artist Eliza Mamardashvili. It was created in the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion of her home country, Ukraine. In a makeshift air-raid shelter set up in a cultural centre, she had the means to express her personal experiences through direct gestures with the simplest of materials, ‘tracing’ them with a ballpoint pen on loose sheets of paper.
The Olivier von Schulthess Collection is honoured to express the importance of this series of works in an artist book. We cordially invite you to the book launch and exhibition of the series.
The artist as well as the book designer Kateryna Lesiv will be present and will sign the artist’s book.
