Rosana Antolí‘s artist book is a curated selection of the artwork that expands over the last ten years.
Through drawing, painting, sculpture, video and performance, her artistic practice focuses on understanding movement in relation to the visual arts. To do so she seeks into the poetics of our everyday actions, listening to and observing her environment to reveal the choreographies that structure our daily lives.
Repetition, absurdity, failure and eternal loops are constant sources in which her work delves into. She revisits these concepts to create patterns that understand gesture as a space for empathy and communication. Her work invariably has a temporal and performative component that she enlarges by creating immersive installations where she revisits ideas as utopia and revolution inviting audiences to embrace them from an innovative perspective.
